GROWING SINCE 2014

Meet the OG’s of Colorado Hemp:

Before Dama Botanicals was even a thought, Tyler’s dad Richard Tibbits was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He began to notice the fatigue, headaches, pain, and other troubling effects that resulted from his medications for this autoimmune disease. Exhausted by his symptoms and the cocktail of medications prescribed, Richard tried ground-up CBD flower in pill form as a remedy. The results not only highly improved Richard’s health and overall well being from MS, but inspired him and Tyler, to continue growing hemp for its medicinal relief and effects.

Just south of the McPhee Reservoir in Dolores, Colorado, our hemp flower is sungrown outdoors with natural and careful farming methods to provide the cleanest and purest hemp flower to  Austin, Texas.

In 2018, the Farm Bill legalized hemp cultivation and allowed us to broaden our horizons and explore other psychoactive cannabinoids to create products and flower for medicinal value.

By cultivating hemp strains rich in cannabinoids like CBD, this father and son duo set out to provide flower with medicinal purposes to patients across the country.

Green Star Farms is a raw, organic hemp farm that grows with care and quality the most sustainable way possible. Consisting of a living soil environment, each plant’s soil has over 34 natural elements–and a living ecosystem for optimal nutrition and growth. The Tibbits and the Green Star Farms crew brews compost teas and amendments to enhance the living system for the plants — creating the ultimate essence, potency, and flavor for each flower grown.

Overall, an abundance of natural and sustainable elements is key to Green Star Farm’s raw cultivation process – which shows as a result in the Dama Botanicals products we provide and experiences we create for our community.
